Cars in German Town Found Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Law Enforcement
Authorities stated they were alerted by a individual who noticed a car in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to law enforcement.

Cars, walls and mailboxes were vandalized, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Officers say they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a man observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then found many other smeared automobiles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws prohibiting the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say preliminary tests indicate the fluid was most likely human blood.

"At present there remains no indication as to where it came from; authorities are presently not aware of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities said they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have asked to the residents for tips.

A senior official commented the attack left him stunned and required to be addressed rapidly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right attack five years ago," he posted on social media, referring to the death of nine individuals by a gunman targeting individuals of immigrant origin in February 2020.
