The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Planners groups.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which players will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
